Merry Christmas!

I hope that all of my family, friends, and fans have a wonderful holiday season!

The reason I'm crying is because this Santa was a fraud. He looked perverted and was skinny. Not real at all!

Standing Steadily!

I'm just over 10 months old and weigh 10kgs (22 pounds). This past week I've learned to stand up quickly and stay standing for long periods of time. I am often in my little play area standing along the wall and peeking out over to see what Mommy and Daddy are doing. A lot of times they join me, but a lot of times we also like to play peek-a-boo between the holes.

I also finally met my friend Finley! He's 2 months younger than me and such a cutie! We played together for about 2 hours and it was such a fun time!

Last week was my last week of Kindermusik (baby music class) so we took a class photo. Here I am with (from left to right) Ethan, Samantha, Zara, and Erica. There was one other baby named Naomi in my class, but she already left the country for vacation.

These days when I wake up I like to stand up in my cot. Don't worry, this is after Mommy already put the side down. Otherwise it's really high and there's no way I could lean over it.

So happy to see Mommy after a nice nap!

This is my supermodel pose. I'm practicing early. :)

Mommy tried to give me a mini ponytail in a clip.

I like my new look!

And here's a smile with teeth.

This is my new friend, Finley. I'm just showing him around my playpen.

Here he is admiring my beautiful profile.

This is my favourite rattle. Be gentle with it!

Hogging the camera while Finley just looks adorable in the background.

People kept trying to get our attention from different angles, constantly interrupting our playtime!

Here we are making music together. He's having so much fun!

Two innocent babies, two beautiful faces.

I cannot deny it--Finley is one good-looking baby!

"This is my favourite book. It teaches you how to brush your teeth. Since you only have one tooth, you don't have to worry about it just yet!"

"Your hair is so long and soft, Naomi! I love it!"

After about 100 unsuccessful attempts, we're finally both looking at the camera!

"Let's play with something else, Finley. Just move a little bit and I'll find something new."

I was feeling affectionate, so gave him a one-armed hug.

And I snuck in a quick kiss on the cheek!

Finley then returned the favor and hugged me back. :)

We should play like this every weekend!

Finley and I were seeing who could talk the loudest!

"No, this is MY cell phone. But I guess you can play with it for a little while..."

Here we are having a staring contest.

I'm rubbing his head for good luck.

"Finley, watch where you put your hand!"

We're both intrigued by the musical bear.

This is the moment of our first meeting. We're both more interested in other things than each other... then I start to get excited! (video also here)

You can't see it, but Finley slaps my bum in this video. He's obviously really happy to play with me! (video also here)

And here is our final attempt at making some cool beats. (video also here)

In the past week I've learned to stand! I need to hold onto something (usually Mommy or Daddy), but I can manage to push myself off the ground and into a standing position. I'm still really wobbly and can only stay up on my feet for a few seconds, but I'm hoping to master this trick by Christmas.

Just after a nice refreshing bath...

I know, my hair looks a bit funny. Tee hee.

These days I'm always trying to stand up when I have something to hold on to.

You caught me, Mommy!

Peek-a-boo! Whenever Mommy or Daddy peek through different holes in my playpen it cracks me up.

Daddy tried to make me a human burrito with the comforter.

Get me outta here!

I'm not sure why, but I love to wear stripes.

Maybe it's because I look so good in them. : )

Here's step 1 of me trying to stand up.

Step 2: I pull my legs closer to the keyboard for more support.

Step 3: On all fours...

Step 4: I slowly inch my upper body closer to my lower body, but can't seem to get into a standing position and am stuck like this!

Let's play!

Hold me, Mommy!

I have great genes--my shirt says it all!

I'm also 100% cute...

100% smiles...

100% active...

100% curious...

100% modest (hee)...

100% happy...

And just 100% me!

Just repeating my favourite word "Mama". Just kidding, Daddy, I love you two equally! (video also here)
