Time to Retire

Hello family and friends and fans around the world!

As of two weeks ago, I welcomed my new baby sister into the world and must now retire this blog as it's only big enough for me. Not to worry though because we now have a new blog which you can access here: Princesses Wu

So come visit us soon and leave us a comment!

Bugs and Hairspray

I was sick a couple of weeks ago and in no mood for photos or smiles or blogging. Now I'm all better, but I've been so busy with activities and catching up that I haven't really had time for many new photos. So here are just a few that I've taken.

Here's me and Daddy posing together. I secretly stuck a sticker on his forehead and he didn't even know when taking this photo! Hee hee!

A lot of times when the laundry is fresh out of the dryer and nicely folded, I like to pull a bunch of pieces out and drag them around the house. This drives Mommy crazy! The other day I insisted on wearing Daddy's stripe shirt. I personally think it looks better on me than him!

Daddy giving me a piggy-back ride!

Mommy and Daddy finally decided it was time for a haircut. So Daddy pulled out the scissors and created this mess. Oh no, I look like a fool!!!

Then he tried to trim the uneven bits and cut it too short! Sigh...

Happy Halloween!! I dressed up as another of Daddy's favourite drinks, but I refused to wear the cap. Oh well, I guess the main part of the costume is good enough!

We went to a wedding on the weekend and here I am posing with Mommy. Once everyone's food came out, I immediately stopped eating mine and insisted on trying all of the adult food. And I ate A LOT!

Daddy and me--we make such a great-looking pair! I was feeling a bit tired so we had to leave early and I didn't even get a chance to dance with Daddy! Boo!

On Sunday, we went to visit our friends and their new one-month old baby, Joshua! Here I am smiling after playing with their cute doggies.

It's so hard to get a good photo with 3 babies all looking in different directions who can't seem to focus for even 2 seconds. That's my 7-month old cousin Ethan next to me and tiny little Joshua above me!

I'm becoming more and more affectionate and gave Joshua a little peck on the cheek.

Here we all are giving some nice cuddles to Joshua. Babies are so cute and small!

For the past couple of months, I've insisted on feeding myself at mealtime. It used to be messy, but now I am pretty good at keeping it clean!

Since birth, I have loved listening and dancing to music. Then Mommy recently showed me a musical called "Hairspray" because she loved the Broadway play. Now I am always asking Daddy and Mommy to put it on for me because I just adore the music and love dancing along. Here I am trying to mimic the dance sequence, although Mommy is pretty sure there is no part where they lift their shirts up. I must've made that part up myself somehow! Do you dig my moves?

Me and the Boys

The past few weeks have been filled with lots of boy-time. When we first got back home, I spent a TON of time with Daddy because he's my favourite person in the world and just a cool guy all around. Then he left for a business trip for two weeks (coming back Thursday!!) and my Uncle Joseph came to visit. So I was able to spend time playing with him and showing him all my dance moves and cool toys.

It was Daddy's birthday a few weeks ago. Here I am so happy to be celebrating his special day!

My fab photography skills at work again. You must admit, I'm pretty good!

The birthday boys--Uncle Brian and Daddy!

I don't know what I'm doing here, but this was the only photo with the 6 of us. Oh well!

Daddy, me and Mommy. I guess that night I just didn't want to look at the camera.

It was such a beautiful day three Saturdays ago so Daddy and Mommy took me to the park.

There was so much room and I was so excited to run around anywhere I wanted to.

Having a stroll with my Daddy.

Come on, catch up!!

Here I am chasing a bird.

I got this close, and then it flew away. Darn it!

Since I had so much fun painting in summer school, Mommy bought me a paint set for home. Here I am using two paint brushes at the same time. I've very talented!

Uh-oh, the paint is now on my fingers. It's only a matter of time when it gets onto my...

FACE!

I am quite fascinated by the sight of my handprints.

Oh no! What have I done?!

A special moment with my Daddy!

This was my last photo with Ethan before he moved into his new house. We're no longer nextdoor neighbours, which saddens me. : (

Here I am surfing the Wiggles site and trying to navigate with the mouse.

Uncle Joseph came to visit me for a week! What a great surprise! Here I am showing him how to dance.

People are often surprised at how mesmerized I get when the Wiggles are on tv.

3 is not a crowd--it's a party!

Look what Uncle Joseph and Auntie Chi-Chi got me! A Wiggles keyboard!

Each time I take a photo with Uncle Joseph, he always ends up looking odd for some reason. But since I look so cute in this one, I had to put it up!

A Kodak moment with my generous gifters.

Do you want to have a try?

Dancing to the songs with Auntie Chi-Chi.

You shower me with love and gifts every time I see you! Boy am I going to miss you, Uncle Joseph! Come back soon!

Home Sweet Hong Kong

Man, I am WAY behind on updating my blog! Oopsies! I guess that's what happens when you're having too much fun. And trust me, I've been having A LOT of fun!

By now I've returned back home, but at least I have these wonderful memories of HK to look back on at any time:

It's a new day and here I am waiting to go to class. Yep, you read that correctly--Mommy enrolled me in summer school while in HK. I played, danced, painted, drew, glued, had storytime, and met lots of new friends.

This is my very first work of art. It's a bicycle, a cloud, and a sun (not to be mistaken for an orange).

This is my second piece, and you can tell my art skills have slightly improved. Those gold dots on the right are my fingers!

This is the inside of a book that I made. Isn't the fish so pretty? Mommy helped me with this, but I painted the blue background, spread all of the glue on and stuck on a bunch of the beads.

When I stayed with Gong-Gong and Poh-Poh, there was a playground nearby that we went to visit. Here I am riding the duckie.

And having a ball on the fish too!

I'm always a bit scared of going on slides the first couple times, so Poh-Poh rode it with me.

Yay--that was fun!

I love to climb stairs, but I always need someone at the top and bottom to lead me all the way up.

I don't just enjoy going down the slide, but also try to walk up them too!

In one of my classes there was a dress-up section. Today's topic was lions and I wore the costume long enough for Mommy to take this photo until I started tearing it off.

Having a walk with Gong-Gong to Pacific Place from his office. I love running around in the mall!

Poh-Poh's friend brought her little puppy over and I was so excited to pet it.

Mommy look! Can we get one too??

Since I've been in HK, I've grown an obsession over shoes. Here I am practicing my catwalk in one of Mommy's.

And my obsession continues onto bags. Here I am with Mommy's bag but wearing Poh-Poh's shoe.

This is my doggie. I love to ride and bounce on his back.

Another of Poh-Poh's friends brought her doggie over to play with me too. This one was a bit bigger so I didn't pet him as much. Here I am trying to give him his chew toy.

This doggie did tricks and I got a kick out of watching him chase his tennis ball.

After days of wearing one adult shoe around the house, I found the confidence to wear a pair. Fun!

Dress-up doesn't end with women's shoes. Each night when Gong-Gong returns from work, I like to take his tie and parade it around the house.

Quick photo-op with the grandparents!

I only get to see my cousins Talia and Tyler twice a year, so I love playing with them as much as I can!

Very tempted to knock this block tower down...

Eating a banana with a spoon all by myself!

I need help!

I also have a huge fascination of electronics--especially ones that turn on, have lots of colors, and make noise.

Here I am playing with Gong-Gong's phone. Even though he put his keypad on lock, I still managed to unlock it and then call Singapore, Korea, and New York within the span of 5 minutes.

I look like the biggest (but cutest) nerd in this photo. Mommy loves it!

Cheese!

This is a good look for me too.

See, I still LOVE to eat!

Bring on the dessert!

During dinner out one night, I learned how to take photos by myself. I'm a pretty smart little kid. This is my self-portrait.

I love putting on my sunnies and showing off how beautiful I look!

Here I am in art class painting again. I usually can't stand being dirty...

but I ended up rubbing the paint all over my hands and arms like lotion. Lots of fun!

This is storytime when we all exchanged hugs. I was a little hesitant at first, but then joined in with everyone.

Painting all by myself. Aren't I good?

Forget the brush, it's so much easier with hands!

Oh, what have I done?

This is my family tree that I'm painting.

Uh-oh, this is going to be messier than I thought.

Janice and I were able to have another playdate together before I left. Here we are both trying to take control of my tricycle.

Aunties and babies once again reunited!

For our last night in HK we went to dinner at the Jockey Club. That night I had so much fun and learned to do "cheers" with everyone.

Again please? Cheers!

This is so insanely fun! :)

Yay the dinner was delicious!

Another Kodak moment with Gong-Gong and Poh-Poh. I'm going to miss them a lot!

And one with my Uncle Joseph. Sometimes he scares me, but most of the time we have fun together!

And that sums up my trip! Hope you enjoyed the photos almost as much as I enjoyed my vacation!
